» Who said church is boring?
Not our young people! Many of them turn up every Sunday morning from 10.30am to join with the rest of the church and worship God. Some of the young people can be seen in the band, helping in Kids Club, in our performing arts group, serving drinks and involved with many other activities. Our aim is that we help them find their place and play their part in The Open Door Church.

» Relevant Teaching
After a time of worship the young people usually leave for some Bible based teaching and discussion that is relevant to them whether they are a Christian or not. The teaching is delivered by our gifted youth team and is interactive, lively, practical and fun. We aim to communicate the good news of Jesus that is thousands of years old, in a way that connects with teenagers today.

Here are some of the titles of the teaching series we have taught: “Things that make you go WOW!” “Help… I'm a Christian!” “Friends” and “Walking with Jesus.”

I think our young people would agree the best way to experience this is to turn up and try it for yourself.
