Every other Friday from 7.30-9.15pm at the OpenDoor Church Office, our young people meet in small groups. We have a chill out time where there is food, drink, talking and playstation, a chance to catch up on the week and meet with your mates. Anyone in school years 7-13 is welcome.
A small group night starts with a chill out time then we move into big games led by a member of the youth team. We then have a 10 minute talk which are really easy to listen to and learn from. At the moment we have a series running called "Switch On" all about the basics of being a Christian and applying what the bible says to your life at home and at school. We then break into small groups. We have a younger and older girls groups (led by Lizzie and Emily) and a younger and older guys group (led by Pete and Dave). The groups give you a great chance to talk about your week, get more information about the Switch on topic, have a laugh and also pray for each other.
We run alpha courses if people are needing them.
