Ignite - Small Groups

‘At Ignite we have time to talk or play on the playstation then we get into our small groups or talk about Christianity. It’s great!’
Tim 15

‘Ignite is amazing because you can meet up with your friends and you can relax. I think the subjects that we look at in ‘The BIG ?’ are great.'
Mary 13

Every other Friday from 7.30-9.15 at the Post 16 Centre (St Neots Community College), our young people meet in small groups. We have a chill out time where there is food, drink, talking and playstation, a chance to catch up on the week and meet with your mates. Anyone in school years 7-13 is welcome.

We then have ‘The BIG ?’ which is lead by a member of the youth team about issues that affect our young people today. Recent topics include: the bible why bother? How to be a Christian at school, parents, drinking and Adam’s story.

Alongside the BIG ? we run a group for those who are checking out Christianity. One of our young people prepares a short talk and then it’s question time!

‘Alpha allows you to get to know about the things you didn’t quite know about before’
Munchie 16

We also have single sex groups run by a member of the youth team where the young people get a chance to talk more openly about the issues from the BIG ? and anything else they want to talk about.

We've now got our own Ignite page ... information will be coming soon on how to join it!
