Martin and Dawn   

Martin & Dawn

Martin and Dawn moved from Bedford to be involved in the planting of the Opendoor Church in St Neots. Martin is an elder of the church and leads the team at the Opendoor Church. Martin is also involved in overseeing other Newfrontiers churches and the planting of new ones.


Martin is a strong visionary leader with a passion for building biblically based culturally relevant churches. He has a desire to see real Christian community worked out in small groups. This has involved him speaking nationally on Small Group and Cell vision and practice and writing articles for Cell Church UK.


Dawn is a Specialist Nurse at Bedford hospital and shares Martin's passion for the local church. She is involved in the kids work and desires to help children play their part in the life of the church.


Martin and Dawn have been married for over 15 years and have two children, Esther and Becky. They enjoy sports, family time, eating out, good friends and living in St Neots.


Ian and Angela  

Ian & Angela

 

 

Ian and Angela moved to St. Neots in 2006 to be fully involved with Opendoor Church. Ian is an elder and works full time on the staff. He oversees a number of areas of church life including worship, youth and a some of our small groups. He regularly preaches on a Sunday.

 

Ian and Angela got married in 1999 and have two children, Kirstyn and Joshua. Alongside being a Mum, Angela works part-time as a teacher. She leads our Baby Bumpkins project, and is part of the Opendoor Kids team.Ian loves sport and music, and Angela loves painting and entertaining people. They both enjoy having fun as a family and with friends.

Tony & Ruth

Tony & Ruth moved to St Neots in 1997, discovered Opendoor Church within a few weeks of moving and have enjoyed serving the church in a number of ways since then. Tony became an elder of the church in 2007 and oversees a small group neighbourhood as well as other areas of the Church, including technical aspects and PA.

Tony has run his own IT business for nearly 10 years and is committed to bringing God and Christian ethics into the workplace. Ruth is a full time Mum, and also finds time to administer the church finances and help out at the project for Mum’s and babies called Baby Bumpkins.

Tony & Ruth have been married for over 15 years and have two sons called Timothy and Matthew. Tony enjoys painting, motor sport, especially old Mini Coopers, and has recently bought a boat with some friends. Ruth enjoys reading, cross-stitch and knitting.
