Church Planting
Part of the purpose of the Opendoor Church is to see people come into a relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe the best way for this to happen is for people to experience the Christian community of vibrant, healthy, growing local churches. To this end we believe, along with the Newfrontiers family, in planting local churches into new areas so that people who have never been to church can come and experience authentic Christianity in a tangible way.
Since the Opendoor Church began it has been responsible for planting 3 new churches:
The Bridge Church was planted in February 2001 and serves the Huntingdon and St Ives area.
Hope Church was planted in February 2002 and serves the South of Bedfordshire.
